Evo VIII Wing

So, in the interest of spicing up my car a bit, I have been looking into getting an Evo VIII wing for my 02 ES. I've been shopping around and found about the same price all around...painted wing w/ carbon fiber anywhere between 250 and 450. I thought just to make sure I didn't miss all of my options I would call a dealership and see their rates for a painted one. Here is the break down of what I was told by Morgantown Mitsu in WV:
Unpainted no carbon fiber: 1092.00
Painted no carbon fiber: 1348.00
Painted w/ Carbon fiber: 1525.00
+ 75.00 for install
Seriously...can anyone say Stealership

lol $75.00 for install? WTF? It takes less than 30 minutes to swap and clean up! If you REALLY want one buy one used from here. Before you do though...you might want to get a lip and skirts before the wing...

Yeah, I already have a kit in the basement waiting from Spring to come around. I went with the Tracer style kit from http://www.importtrenz.com/v3/catalog/home.php?cat=1504
...I'm sure I'll catch crap about it because it doesn't seem to be too popular of a kit on here, but oh well. Just waiting for a couple nice weekends to get some sanding, fitting, and painting done.

Yeah, you have to love the fake carbon fiber plastic wrap that will probably shrivel up in the heat and look completely crappy in about 2 months. I guess you get what you pay for.

Materials alone, meaning your paint, clear coat, and sanding stuff and primer if not already done would probably be around $75. That is if you have a spray gun and can know someone that can paint. If you get a shop to do it I'd expect to pay about $150...just a rough guess though; don't quote me.
