thanks man-
my friends own the body shop but for someone to just walk in and pay, the body work alone will run you about 4g's and the body kit was like $800+ this is not including the purchase of the hood, trunk, trunk lip, painted wheels, painted calipers, or some of my other stuff that i had done while the car was in the shop.

that one? or what.. if so how did he get the front emblems and such to stay there?
no, it is the kit from bodykits.com (Evo X Style), my body shop made custom brackets for everything.

im not sure how much weight im saving. i never did a weight comparision, but i know i am saving a good amount cuz the stock hood is heavy and so is the trunk with the stock spoiler.

yeah it is a lot of work. everything has its own difficulties, but i would say mounting it, making the custom brackets, and getting it to fit straight.

like i tell everyone who asks, this kit needs a lot of work. it is not a plug and play type of kit. this kit is really really raw and it will only look good if you have someone do the work that really knows how to work with fiberglass.

do you know if any other sites make the same kit just more fit..or ones that would need less customization..the guy from body-kitz.com or whatever told me that their kits were bolt on..now i dont know if thats true..but it seems like if its bolt on it would take less work..

but i know what you mean by a lot of work.. i have a widebody kit on my supra and to tell you the truth it was an insane amount of work

i have no clue, the only other companies that i know of are Accolade and Extreme Dimensions. I have no clue either on how good they fit nor do i know the quality of their kits.

put it this way, my car was rear ended and it took almost 4 months to make it look like this. thats with repairs and the body kit and everything else.

i used all my stock grills and emblems, but the body shop had to custom make some brackets to hold them in place.

Here's the story.......
I was having one problem getting into HIN this year because i am not on after market wheels. I then talked to a few people @ HIN and they said it was cool to show my car. I then talk to them this past weekend and they break some bad news, saying that the judges were turning people away for not being on after market wheels @ HIN San Mateo. So they dont want the judges to reject my car and they want it there, my only thing is to get a set of after market wheels for the show.

so i've been searching for some and everything i want is on back order and i dont want to buy some rims that i dont want. So I come to all of you to see if anyone can help me out and let me borrow a set of wheels for a day. Who ever does me this favor, I OWE YOU BIG TIME and ill buy your ticket for HIN LA.

so if theres anyone out there than can help me or know someone who can, please hit me up and let me know.

Thanks Everyone.

That's ridiculous! I can see not wanting hub caps there, but your "Stock" wheels are nicer than a lot of aftermarkets I've seen, and they are painted too right? They can suck ***** if they turn you away for that.

LMAO, dude everyone has been saying that and i honestly think my rims look a lot better than a lot of after market wheels. i want to get a set to just roll in and take my rims with me and set them up with the car.
