My LED project!

I had some extra time today and decided to make some LED replacements for some of the lights in the car. So far I got the trunk and dome light done. I'm working on the third brake light right now but couldn't resist posting some of the pics night time pics maybe tonight.

Dome and trunk lights are 3x3 5mm superbright white leds:

2x8 red superflux led brake light:

Should i tint the red cover with some niteshades?

i would do the tails...but i don't have a dremel to open up the tails...any other way would take me too long to open.

I did ended up tinting the lens. You can barely tell the lens is red in the day time.

The leds give out an even amount of light... even though it doesn't look like it in the pics

looks good.. it'd be nicer if you had the switches IN the cupholder and they'd turn the light on when you had a cup in the holder
