I am planning to get the HID kit for my GTS, anyone has installed the HID kit already? 6500k or 8000k? Any pics? Also, how did you bypass the DRL? I am not familiar with this, please give me some opinion... thanks~!

 

i just installed a 10k about 2 hours ago and i am innnnn loooovvveeee
just did the install and havnt bypassed the DRL's yet
but basically if u do iy my way u have to turn the lights on then turn car power on and then 5 seconds later start the car
imma bypass them tmrw tho

 

the higher the kelvin the more useless the light and the more inefficent they are. dont do it ghetto and look up how to do a retro on hidplanet.com/forums

 

10K? holy sh8t is that like blue blue blue? how can you even see..

I wouldnt recommend going over 6000K. 4300K would give you that OEM look, but if you want the pure white look then 5000K would be ideal.

 

most hid companies recommend 6k. if you want some blue tint id go with 8k nothing higher.

 

8k is the best............................

 

6000k are like an icey blue. i got'em and love'em, hahaha. only crappy part is no projector.. yet....

 

kaixen 6k is the way to go...gotta love them.
