GTS HID conversion kit or Evo X headlights

I need to be clarified on this topic. Can regular lancers (DE, ES and GTS) wear Evo X HID headlights? Is getting a HID conversion kit (with bulb, ballast, ect.) producing the same effect? Where can I get evo X headlights?

Thanks!

if you buy a HID kit for the lancer you have to worry about the DRL problem, i doubt the evo HIDs plug right in, i'm sure you would need something else. and the only place to get those right now is the dealership for a lot of money.

HID kit won't produce the same effect, you'll need to get EVO X headlight (if they are bolt on) or do a retrofit in your current headlight housing.

I don't mind the DRLs. is there another problem associated with them? I would assume the Evo lights are $800+

the most ~affordable~ option is to rebuild your stock housings with the projector bits from some scrapped S2000 or RSX projector housings.

It's typical dealer rape on part cost for OEM parts. I read on here that someone was quoted $8,000.00 for the RECARO seats from the EVO X...

WTF? are you serious? How can they even justify that much when you can go anywhere else and get them for 10% of that price! dealerships are lame!
