For those who painted the chrome front grill of the 08's. Did you go flat black or gloss black?

I am painting mine this weekend. Bought Dupli-Color trim paint and primer. Did not buy clear because I am not sure if it was better flat or with gloss. I guess I would have to wait till I do the project to know which i would prefer but I would like to know what most have done.

that looks so baller! do u have aftermarket headlight bulbs too?

 

Go flat back. Glossy would just looky tacky.

 

you can get it from autozone or any place like that...where the door trim is there should be custom trim..the hardest part is just trying to bend it with the bumper and make it look right...takes about an hour just bending it right



and the bulbs are aftermarket 8000k

 

It should look like trim, not part of the body, so I agree it should be flat.
