So again thanks to those who posted the how tos on how to paint the grille flat black but to no avail I still haven't gotten it right. Tried twice looked good for awhile but but then it slowly started to chip away and then just looks like plain **** after awhile. So I was looking around today and saw this.

I took out the tt's because I am not sure on the forum rules but just replace them with "tt"

Its only $90 and I most likely spent about that on painting the one I have now and this is a guarantee.

Plz let me know on your input if you have seen this, purchased it, or think its just to much damn money for a small piece lol.

Looks really good man I never saw an orange lancer either. I would have to say I would have def gotten that one over my black one if I knew it came in orange. Good work on the bumper too but I have to think my paintin days are over especially with something like the bumper I don't want to fudge anything up no matter how easy the directions are. My skill lie's with electronics not paint ha. Again good work though.

 

i special ordered the color, rotor glow metallic. i actually had the car ordered to all my specs. i didn't paint the bumper its a vinyl that was really easy to apply. it was 30 bucks from ebay and the mitsu vinyls were 10..i think the plastic cover pieces are way over priced. i haven't had a problem with any of the vinyl and they've withstood many washes and high speeds. no peeling, scratches, rips or chips from rocks. just takes a little patience to apply it, but if you put it on with soap and water you can move it around and dry it in place.

 

All it is is the DE front grill, I bought one and it looks awesome, well worth the 90-100$.

Plus I can swap it out if I need to when selling the car.

Ya I was thinking of buying the vinyl also for the front bumper I am stuck between the two piece and the three piece though. I am not sure if I want to black out the lower piece because eventually I am going to get it with a chrome trim around the whole thing. Decisions decisions.....

 

Yeah, I was thinking about buying the grille too, but I wanted somebody's opinion on it first.
