check them out on Ebay, look for a seller called lsdmotorsports, I bought mine from them on the "make an offer" and I bought them for 850 shipped UPS...they're in Cali so I ended up paying taxes on it, but it's hella cheaper than RRM wanting over a grand for them + shipping like another 40 bucks!

trust me, find a part you want/need, then check Ebay, a lot of their stuff is crap cause of taiwanese/chinese imports and crap taking over, but there are still a lot of trustworthy sellers selling quality stuff if you know how to look

everything I have, almost, I bought on Ebay, they're even selling the rear anti-sway bar for less than RRM (but no mounting hardware, so not sure if it's really a savings there)...

I buy from RRM, but in a recession, sorry guys, gotta find the cheaper price...oh, I installed my SRI and the instructions with it were superb, no wonder no one's made a how-to, there's no need...my projector kit comes in today, my anti-sway bar comes in today, and I got my suede fabric yesterday...

too bad I'm spending this weekend away from my car (I'd be up all weekend), but I'm hoping to find a good deal on interior pieces (EVO seats anyone?!?!?) at the junkyard tomorrow...*crosses fingers*

catch ya later with some pics

more pics!!!

I've got a few pictures of my newest mods, I spent most of this weekend busy with family, but I was able to get my gauge and HVAC controls LEDed yesterday, here's how it turned out:

Here's the HVAC controls, I think it all came out pretty nice, pretty even color/light distribution for being all LED...

And last week I did my intake, here's a pic of that:

I should be getting my projector parts today, so I'm going to be working on that this whole week, then this weekend I want to do my coilover suspension and sway bar!

projector start!

so here it is guys, I got my projector retrofit kit and started working on it last night, it's turning out pretty good, here's what I've done so far (when I'm done I'll post an in depth "how-to" in case you ever want to do your own):

I took the headlights apart and pulled the reflector out:

I shaved/cut pieces off the reflector to fit the projector in it (this is a BIG *** TL projector so it needs a lot of breathing room and lots of modification!):

Then I primed it:

Then I test fitted it to see what it would look like once it's in the housing:

Here's another pic, you can see how the solenoid for the high beam (IT IS FREAKING HUGE, lol) just barely clears the plastic housing:

Here's my bulbs, these are OEM Phillips bulbs and they are 4300k in color temperature:

Here are my OEM Mitsubishi Ballasts (it almost seems like they designed the headlamp to be HID at one point because there are three screw holes under the light that almost perfectly match the OEM ballast):

Here's a close up of the stock lens, I'm going to be replacing it with the ZKW-R clear lens (pictured below):

Clear lens upgrade:

Also you'll notice a shiny piece of plastic on the projector, that's my gatling gun shroud, I trimmed it and fit it to the projector to see what it would look like...still a lot to do on this one, then do it all over again to the other one, then I have to aim them, seal them, and...enjoy them!!!!

what ya'll think so far?!

Here's some pics I took last night, they are coming along really well I think...what do you say?

and seriously people, start reading and posting, I'm not doing this all for my health you know, how about some feedback? looks like crap, looks good? shoot me some infos...

pics!!!

This is after I mounted the projector in the reflector and back in the housing!

Once I fit it all in place, I put it back together temporarily to see what it looked like:

And here's the inside of it through the clear lens upgrade!!!

whacha'll think?!

more pics

okay guys, got the suspension on this weekend, sway bar and coilovers and I dropped it a bit (not too much cause in the rainy season it's hella rockslide central where I live, just this morning I dodged a rock the size of a bowling ball and a few baseballs!)

but anyway, here's some pictures of the job:

here's the camber plates on the top mount (front struts):

Here's some pics of the fronts with the tires off:

Here's some pics of the rears with the sway bar in the pic:

The sway bar on it's own:

Here's some pics of my cat-back (stainless steel piping, even though it looks all dull, lol):

And here's my baby with a new lowered stance!!!

The retrofit projectors should be done and up this week or so, Suede headliner/doors/etc. coming next week!

more PICS!!!

alright ya'll, they ain't put on yet, but they are done, I'm just waiting on my wiring harness to come in, but here are the projectors in their completed form!

here's a picture of the underside of the headlamp where I mounted the ballast:

Here's a closeup of the turn signal which is going to get rewired to the parking lights and with the projector lens in it (the stock cloudy TL lens) should make a decent DRL:

Also, since I'm rewiring the parking light, I'm going to use the amber corner as a turn signal, I cut away pieces of the plastic behind the amber reflector and also lined the bulb socket with tin foil (using high grade, high heat adhesive) so that the bulb would reflect more light:

it's hard to see it, but it's there, I plan to use a high yield multi-direction LED in there in the future, but for now, the theme is as factory/OEM look as possible!

And here's some various angle pictures (some pics came out better than others):

What'cha'll thinkies?

the car handles like an absolute dream, it's bumpy, but then again I've got it set at setting 10, which is hella stiff for mountain driving/racing. I live up the windy coastline of Cali, so I needed it stiff. But when I put it on in the beginning, I hadn't lowered it, on the softest setting it still felt manageable, but it handled well, not too bumpy.
