hey evom. I just gotta 2009 Wicked White Lancer GTS a few weeks back and I wanted to get involved in a lancer community. Heres my car so far....I really want to do something about the back of my car cause i do think it's the ugliest part of the lancer. any ideas on how to make it look better? is it possible to get the lights to look like mazda 3 lights without having to replace the lights as a whole? enjoy.

 

The front looks AMAZING!

That's one of the first things I want to do to my 09 Octane Blue.... But I don't trust myself to do it myself.... if that makes sense.

haha thanks guys. i can give you pointers if you wanna do it to ur blue lancer. its not as hard as it looks.

 

I definitely agree about the back. I think that having a black tail light housing and a rear air dam (like the ralliart) would make it look much better.

For me, the car looks kind of out of proportion from the back...to tall and not wide enough.

First of all, take a look at this "HOW TO: Painting the front bumper" thread. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=296585. I followed this procedure exactly as written lol. the entire process itself is not so much difficult but rather time consuming. if you still want to go through with it, ill private message you a thorough list of where most of the problems arose and how to solve them. Total cost of work cost me about 40$ ( paint, sand paper, masking tape etc.)
