Debading then rebadging?????
I wanted to get rid of the LANCER part and keep the mitsu emblem, only I don't like how high the
is. IS there a way to take it off then put it back on in a different spot????

I did debadge my car, looks good, only thing is on another post about debadging I saw someone mentioned just rubbing the goo off with their finger, it's effective, but don't rub too hard or you'll get some blisters like I mananged to do. Goo Gone doesn't work all that great, if u have just a little of the sticky stuff it works, but if almost all of it stays on you have to soak it with Goo Gone for a couple hours before that crap comes off, at least thats what I did and it was still pretty hard to get it all off. just remember, soar fingers if u rub!

Heat it up with a heat gun or hair dryer until it's hot to the touch, then slip a thin piece of rigid plastic (like a Blockbuster card or something) under it to get it started. Then you can slide some dental floss in there and get it off. The other stuff to clean it off with is Goof-Off. Worked on mine. Then I cleaned the area with denatured alcohol and wiped it off with water.
HAHAHA i was gonna re-position my letters to save RACIN but then i thought about it and i changed my mind.. plus i overheated one of the letters and it melted all retardlly haha but yeah.... the oz badgin just heat up just like the same way u did the emblems... and ahah rubbin off the sticky .... i found an easy way to do it... well not easy... but for someone whos going to remove their badging this is what i did....
parked car in garage and hooked up my blowdryer and blowdry on high heat for a bit... be sure not too long or ur letters will start to melt =X! .. then pull but not to hard or u might bend the letters cause it might be kinda of soft from the heat.. it should peel off a bit.. then let it cool for just a sec and pull it off and it should come off easy... then the rubber sticky stuff, get a rag/towel that has texture to it... rub at it with a lil bit of water and it'll take it off... the texture on the towel grip the sticky stuff... or if u wanna do it like me... i dabbed my towel with some paint thinner =X.. i know ur not supposed to do that but what the hey.. it didnt damage my paint either.. just used a bit of it.... but if u do use something like that i suggest u use gunk off or something
=D

See now, what I did was heat it up with the blowdryer for a good minute or so then used the dental floss, started at the top of the letter and while it was still hot, circled the floss around until it looped in the middle where it pryed it completely off, sticky stuff and all, if you wait for it to cool, more of the sticky stuff stays on the car. And as for the OZ badge,
like I said before, it's flush with the car, floss, a blockbuster card, nothing would fit between the car and the badge, how did someone else who took it off do it???

Pick at the OZ badge with your finger nail for a bit then slide some floss under there and heat it up really well and then floss across.
When your done get out the goo gone because the cement they used on the back of that thing is a ***** to get off....took me about 2 hours to do all the emblems and the oz badge....including waxing a few times.

A kick @ss thing to do when rebadging is re arrange the letters to say "RACE"
