Eibach or progressive?

hey everyone im thinking of lowering my car, i was debating on either getting the eibach pro kit or the progressice lowering springs. which do you think are better, price wise as well as efficiency and would the progresive do harm to my stock shocks? just wondering. feed back would be great. thanks everyone

i have eibach and hate them
the springs bounce around and it makes rattling noises and its annoying
and the ride is so bouncy its rediculous
maybe i just blew my struts idk.. but im saving up for coilovers now
do it right the first time..get coilovers
dont waste ur money on springs and then blow your struts and then realize.. damn i should have just spent the extra money and got coilovers
goodluck

+1...just save up for coilsovers cause no matter which one you go with, whithin months your stock shocks will blow...i have megan racing coilovers and they are by far worth the extra money and if you look hard enough, you can find a great deal on a set like i did

another question..so many questions i know..im pretty new but do you guys drive liek race with your cars and stuff like that cuz im pretty much just driving my car to school and work and thats pretty much it so would eibach springs really do that much damage. my streets are pretty smooth with occasionally rough streets but overall the streets are good since they just re made almost every street in my area.

nope i dont race i just drive to work at school like you do
most of the streets by me arent that bad either
when you get the springs you just notice dips and bumps and everything in the road alot more
springs wont hold up with the stock struts so your going to have to replace them when the blow anyway
just trying to help you out

i had both...i first had the eibach springs/ground control sleeves...then i upgraded to the full megan suspension. i got mine for $450 the guy sold his lancer and it was just sittin around and he wanted money for 4th of july weekend. so i offered and he took im sure he had a good weekend, i kno i did

the sleeves were ok to a certain extent. they were stiffer and yea you can adjust the height however you want, but you will get camber wear and of course your struts will go out over time. the megans you can adjust just about everything, height, camber and damper. you can use the springs, but highly recommended to get KYB struts to replace your stock struts. RRM sells them as well as other places.

oh, and i dont race either...just a daily for me

theres are a couple in the for sale theads that are relatively cheap. thats if you want them used. speedcorps has the megans goin for $900 and free shipping

http://stores.speedcorps.com/-strse-...Categories.bok

it all really depends on whether you want new or used. 9 times outta 10 you can get a good set of used that are practically new for cheap. check the threads
