Drive02:: if you are using the bulbs that have the plastic sockets attached to them.. they have resistors on them already... the one resistor listed on that page is for when you use the LEDS as turn signals.. they blink faster and that resistor makes them blink as if they are normal lights..
as for the gauges dont usually look right with leds because they dont spread out the light well enough, but for the shifter it "might" work good enough, but I havent ripped apart the whole center console just to change out that one light.. too much work for one thing!

lol lazy people, i took apart the center console in about 5 minutes!
come on now...open ur console lid, remove those 2 screws in the bottom of the console....than pull up(a few clips hold it down in the front) and than pull it out.
there is 'rivet' like screw on the passenger side by the foot well, just take a screwdriver and push in the middle and pull it off, there are a few clips, just a nice smooth tug, than there is a regular screw u have to unscrew, lol. on driver side another 'rivet' u have to push in and pull out, a few clips...than just pull it off. thats it. oh, after u take off the first part of the console there is a harness, unclip it than u can take off the front console part. the green wire is the ACC wire and the RED wire has power whenever the key is in the ignition and turned to ANY position..i know cuz right now my strobes are wired to the RED wire, but that may change soon.
I want all blue interior lights, i installed my own headunit, so i know what under the dash console looks like...can i just take out those lights and replace them with blue ones? and if i use LED's do i need resistors, or ar ethey LEDs already?
thanks for all the help guys

I went and asked for the 99-00 civic si climate control light, and they had no clue what i was talking about.... incompetent idiots... anyway, i did some digging and found a part number, that i will check today if it is correct.
part # 79609-s02-a01 "bulb neo-wedge"

so i read this entire post and then read the tutorial on changing the climate control and the radio lights...i prefer changing entire bulbs than the condoms...so will #74 work for the climate control and the CD player???
i know that the cigarette lighter, ashtray, and shifter are #74
also can someone please clarify about the dome and trunk light...what size are they 31, 36, or 39mm (1 1/4, 1 3/8, or 1 1/2)
thanks

yes the 74 gauge lights will work int the climate control, there are just 2 lights in there, i replaced them yesterday. but one of the sockets fell and i can't find it, does anyone know where i can get the socket? online? don't wanna pay extreme price from dealer.
