hey i was wondering if anyone knew how to take of the senter pillar where the ciggarette lighter? heres a pic

im tlaking about the lighter portion where cigarrete and ash tray area are placed on. like that center pillar thing? anyone know how to remove that? i wanna paint it and yea thanks everyone

 

I know in my OZ Rally, there are 2 screws (one on either side of the center pillar - passenger size and driver side near the bottom where the pedals are) that you take out, and then once you remove the ash tray, there are screws in that compartment. You may have to remove the armrest as well - there are 2 screws in the bottom of the compartment, and then it all comes apart.

Go to a thread on how to install a short shifter or how to remove the center console and you will find better instructions.
