forget the big name brands... heres my 17x7.5" MSR 113's wrapped in Kumho Ecsta 712's... i got 205/40's but i warn you!! go with 215/40's AT LEAST, even if u gotta reset the speedometer or whatever, cuz the rims stick out way way past the tire and will get scraped to hell if u come even close to a curb... i found this out the hard way...

illizit...I was looking at your profile...and I like your car man...me personally I wouldnt buy your body kit..thats only b/c ever since i've had my heart set on the EVO VII kit. I will tell you this though...your kit looks sooooooo soooooooo pimp at night w/ those green lights in the bumper and the underglow kit...whats even better is how u changed all your bulbs to green...
How the hell havent u got nailed to the cross w/ the police..I woulda by now...I have all my bulbs changed to red...I have red LED turn signals...there nice..my car is also Thunder Grey.

hey pearl, i'm really feelin the enkeis on ur white car... most def a good match! i'm really noticing that on these rims, the inside portion going out and over the lip really makes the difference on appearance. not sure if what i just said will make sense to most of you, so good luck =). i'm thinking that with the rims i want tho, the only way to make them look bigger is to go bigger, which means i may have to go up to 18x8! i'm terrified not for the 18" part of it, but for the 8" width! the offset is 42mm, so i'd probably clear the fender no problem, but inside of the wheel well is where i may experience rub. i remember seeing 19x8 on someone's lancer es, and they said no rub (they aren't lowered either), so we'll see i guess. ugh.. 17s just seem so much more functional for daily driving.

BTW: if i went out to 18x8, do you think i should go with a 215 or a 225 size tire? 10mm is actually quite dramatic (2/5 of an inch).

17X7, i had 205/40s on mine and ig ot bubles, now if it only happened on one tire i woudl say defect, but it happened on 2 or 3 i think, maybe its just cause the potholes here NY, roads suck so bad, or maybe its jsut my crappy luck, but i dont ever plan on getting 205/40s again just from my experience
