Hey 09GTS, do remember how much you paid in shipping for the lip from RRM? I want the lip and I live 20mins away from RRM. But Im moving to Seattle in a few weeks and wanna know if I get it before I leave or have a buddy pick it up and ship it to me.

Better for us to have you buddy pick it up. Call in to check stock first. They are selling faster than we can make them.

To be clear, I am not sure what shipping is but SHIPPING ALONE IS NOT $300 in case someone read it that way. I did not but someone will. Thanks

Looking the same as another one i cannot speak to. THis is what people wanted so we made it, not to mention this is kinda the only way to make a lip that is a reasonable one for a street car. I have never even heard of Scorpion. We must have similar taste.

Brian said the complete opposite in another thread
"yeah we where looking to sell the V-lip from singapore but when we got one the fitment was WAY!!!! off so we used their lip as inspiration and made a proper fitting lip with a few design changes. + they are made right here in the states by RRM what more can u ask for"

this is the main point. everyone is always *****ing about how no one here in the U.S could make some of the cool "JDM" stuff we see in other countries, now when companies like rrm DO make them, if there is a problem you guys take them down real hard, and for this reason I don't think anyone would even try and venture in this "business" of selling replicas or "original-jdm-inspired" products for our cars.

I get it, your a customer, its your money but a business is a business, and if you own one or even took business/management classes (like i did) i think you would understand.

on that note, RRM please fix this issue, do something. Lots of people (including me) are interested but with these issues, I don't think we are ready to buy just yet

your right...you really are. but its the fact he said he didn't know anything about the scorpion shop and that the lip was "original" . If he were to say replica...would be no problems. Dunno just pissed folllowing the original lip thread that started in JULY of 2007!

exactly what he said. no one would have had a problem if he said it was a replica. rock made it as if it was their own and trying to take credit for the design. thinking that they just randomly have "similar designs"

If I cared, then I would be owned. Honestly, he knows stuff I do not know and I do not have time to worry about. So maybe owned may not. Not worried either way. He handles to the dress up product line. Thanks though.

The gaping issues is what concerns me. Why pay a lot when the product doesn't 100% fit on our cars. How about making slightly change on the molding and redo it again for better fitting.
