My RRM Front Lip spoiler install.
Looks good, but you really need to fix your front bumper vinyl... You can see the blue strip poking through on top. When you lay the vinyl, make sure you wrap it around, under the grill so you don't see it.
The Blackout kit is a mitsu OEM install by the dealer. I think I will need to either purchase a new vinyl peice from RRM or use that plastic dip and do it myself.
As mentioned above the fitment of the RRM spoiler was very poor there are gaps on both sides where the grill and stock air dams meet.
regards,
Can you take pics of the areas that are gapped. I've been looking at picking one of these up after the winter season, just want to know what to expect, if I order it still that is.

So far there's 2 Lancers that reported fitment issues with RRM's lip.
I will post pics of the gaps asap!. I'm in Vancouver and it has been raining non-stop for 3 days. Don't get me wrong, I think the thing looks great but unless you live right next to RRM and don't pay for shipping then this thing is a rip. There is another company on ebay that offers a similar item that has better fitment.
I have a buddy that lives a few hours away that bought his lip from ebay. It took 4 weeks to arrive but it fit without any gaps.
Also, the RRM badge with this kit is fairly cheap and lame. There is no screws included to mount it and the holes are PREDRILLED! No choice but to add it unless you want to spend the time filling...
I know RRM only charges $199 but after shipping and customs the thing cost me around $500USD...
The only reason I'm ok with putting down this premium is their rep and claim to real R&D.
I know RRM can't be expected to deliver the world for $199 but they should be upfront with the facts..
This is NOT a direct bolt on mod
Fitment issues(not enough for it to be a dealbreaker)
Holes pre-drilled for RRM badge
No screws for the RRM Badge
RRM badge cheap crap requires paint to fix
6 screws for mounting spoiler(in my case5) not acceptable for a car or drywall or anything
3M double sided automotive tape required

this IS a direct bolt on mod no matter how you look at it
the screws we use are proper for the lip and hold in on quite well
you are correct we dont provide screws with the badge..we provide rivets
we do provide 3M tape where it is needed on the lip
