painting headlights

hey~

i was curious if anyone knew how to paint the our headlights black. i don't really want to buy some, the cost a little to much. and if i'm not mistaken i think i heard some people painted them. just wonderin' if anyone knew how to do this. if anyone could give me tips that would be awesome. thanks a bunch.

Take out the headlights, use a heat gun (carefully) or a hair dryer (hot enough??) and heat the seal of the light. Once the "goo" is hot enough you should be able to seperate the housing. There you go ..paint away after masking areas off. When putting it back together, use a silacone sealant to avoid fogging and condensation in the lens after sealed. That should do it. take pics!!

talk to visualkei or link.. they did this a while ago.. came out really good. but if you do this soon, make sure you seal it really good after you're done to keep your headlights from fogging up
