auto headlights?

one time when i unlocked my ralliart using the F.A.S.T key, the headlights automatically turned on, i think it was a glitch or something because i tried it again but it didnt turn on again, i had to do it manually in the car. i was wondering if anyone knew how to set it so that when you unlock the car using the keys, the headlights would turn on, sortah like the bmw with the angel eyes when you unlock them. thanks !

This just happened to me! Is it really a glitch? I hope not...it would be nice to have the headlights turn on when you unlock the car using fast key.

I suspect you just forgot the light open when you left the car. It's supposed to show a warning but maybe you missed it. The car is intelligent enough to shut the lights off by himself but since the control you use to turn the lights on/off is a physically rotating switch, it is logical that the lights come back one once you start the car.

^ I don't think he started the car, just unlocked the doors.

the ~only~ time this has happened to me is when i forgot to turn the lights off when i get out of the car. They'll auto-off when I get out of the car and arm the "alarm". Then when i go back they come back on when i disarm the alarm (usually just by opening the door; fast key).

With the lights in the off position they don't do it. Only if the lights are left in the on position, have i seen this happen.

As stated, its due to NOT turning the lights off last time you got out of the car. I auto-shuts them off, then when you unlock, they return to their prior setting, which was lights on. Dang these cars are so smart, awesome!!
