HORRAY! My new toys are HERE!!
yeah! the ups man received many thanks today as he dropped off 4 rims and my kamikaze header! woo! i'm so happy, i decided to post some pics!
buddy club p1 racing ii // 18x8 +42mm offset. should have them on my car by the end of the week.
kamikaze header + downpipe // came with a mil eliminator and a gasket... hella nice for the $234 SHIPPED. Thanks JW!
btw: i'd have to say that this is a much better deal than the rrm setup. u get the header and downpipe for cheaper... i'm thinking that the price:hp ratio is much better! perfect for anyone staying n/a or planning on building a custom setup! i'll post more pics when it's on my car later this week!
now my only problem is getting tires! they're so expensive.. didn't even check it out before i decided to dive on 18s, haha. If les schwab doesn't end up cuttng a good enuf deal, i'll end up buying from tirerack.com for the $540 shipped.

one thing i'm wondering is that i've been told that this is a 2 piece rim... this link even says so (if u can read japanese)

how can i tell and does it even matter? it all came as one piece anyway. honestly tho, i remember seeing the stock enkeis on the evo 8, and these remind me of those (cept in gunmetal with a polished lip). i think i read that they weigh in at about 19 lbs... is that good for a 18" rim? either way, i bought these for looks
btw: i will give a heads up on power gains after the header is insalled... i was hoping for it to compensate for the larger wheel and i wouldn't feel any power loss. and about the wishing for funds for your own toys... well.. this came from my $7/hr albertsons job. many many hours! i still have a bundle in the bank (from over the summer), but that'll go for christmas presents! hopefully i can get some suspension and/or exhaust mods on after i get my tax return
