Im just curious to see, anyone have any well stanced lancers running a 17x9? I know its a huge size and but im just curious cause im thinking about achieving this but i think thats way too much poke. Not sure though depending on what offset i choose

I havent seen anyone try and do that yet, I'm currently trying to do 17x8.25 with a +25 offset I think it is

 

Seems very difficult but i saw another guy try to fit 17x9 on the 2004 style lancers and he ended up selling them. He had pictures too. Im gonna attempt 16x9 with a +15 offset later on

April when we get taxes back, im gonna get bc racing coilovers with custom spring rates and then sell my megan coilovers if anyones interested. Only had them on for like 3000 miles hahahah

my tax money is buying tires lmao, but no it was that blue/gray color.. a couple black and red spray paint cans changed that for me

 

yes u can run 17x9 with higher offset like 35

Yeah thats what mine is! Its like all gray and weird color combinations so i plasti dipped some of the trim and pillars and what not. I want to get evo9 interior later on cause its all black. It looks soo much better

Yeah but i feel like its useless then to run 17x9 cause the offset is so high. You could just run like a 17x8.25 with a really low offset and its pretty much the same thing. Im a stance guy and youre gonna need to poke the wheel out more to camber it more so it doesnt hit the strut so in order to do that, you need a low offset. I dont know i think ill just do 16x9. 17s are alittle too big for our cars imo

 

i guess you have a good point but my whole thing with my build has always been ive wanted people to look at my car and just go.. wtf how did he do that? really break necks lol

 

and as for the interior, mine cost me 50 bucks ish? and it was a lot of fun for me

 

So you literally took out like all your dashes and everything and painted them black?

 

i took out as much as i could and then taped off the windshield and everything around it, didnt take too long to really do.. the dpor panels took longer and i took them completely out

 

How do you take of the center console I got the first part off but only was able to lift it up to the shifter.

 

Ahhh okay ive seen a few people do that. I bet that fresh spray paint smell was in your car for sometime! Haha
