Not too shabby. I'd polish those wheels up though they look a bit dull. Other than that
the car looks nice, any plans for a lip kit?

P.S. Nice Socks

I'd get a lip kit.. But it's so hard to find quality parts for the base lancer on the internet. Do you have a link to one you'd recommend?

In other words, you would spend more money to get your car quick NA than getting your car fast by turboing it. However, if you are going to sell your car in the near future, I would hold of on that piggyback unit and just save money for that Evo you said you may get.
This, if you know you want a different car, spend as little as possible on the car you currently have. If you decide to keep the Lancer though, turboing is by far the best bang for the buck modification. All of the bolt-ons do dick all for power.

but after you turbo those modifications will make a difference. A lot of ppl do N/A mods first expecting something spectacular. Im only doing N/A mods first because I know the outcome after turboing it.

I'll keep that in mind. If I go turbo, I'll probably ending up wanting to swap the g64 into my lancer.

The black and white picture technique uses photoshop. You use the quick selection tool to select your car, click the dotted square tool, right click, select inverse, click hue-saturation in image adjustments, turn the saturation all the way down.

That would be a very smart idea, if you keep your car that is. The 4G64 is by far and away a better base than the 4G94 is for modding. Good Luck with your decision.

Yeah, g64 w/ g63 dohc head & turbo, would be the first lancer build of such magnitude wouldn't it?

Hah, still. It'd be something to do, and actually document it on the forums.

I would think long and hard about what you want out of the car first. Doing crazy projects like this is nice but it's not for everyone.

Yeah, I'm young.. and more or less mechanically inclined. I'd like to possibly have a future in the field. The scale of the project would be good experience imo but loads of $ i'm sure. As for drivability after everything would be said and done.. I'm sure I could deal with it

I don't commute more than 4 or 5 miles at a time as I am currently a student.
