Best Legal Plugin Headlights?
Silverstars are a good deal brighter and do help on darker roads. Normal halogen bulbs are around 3200K and the silverstars are at 4000K. HIDs start areound 4100K so silverstars are just 100K lower.

Yea I don't think Blue or Purple makes it ricey either, but to each his own... So, What exact model Silver Stars am I looking for? I want to call and ask before I drive down to various auto shops... And asking them to look it up for you is just stupidity they SUCK at finding stuff for you.
kromix, these are the one you need to buy if you still have your oem headlights st9007. if you bought headlights like the one drummerjun has then you need to buy both the 9005 and H1 right drummerjun? heres the link to the silverstar online store

One question, like he said, for example the lights on BMW's are VERY good, my friends 330ci lights are incredible bright and wide, are they just special or is there a 'similar' or same product for our cheaper cars?

1) They use projector lenses, beams are focused and sharp.
2) Actually the HID they use are the OEM 4100K kits, as I've said a million times, lower the temp, brighter it is.
3) BMW headlights has auto-adjusting beams; which automatically adjusts the beams towards wherever the car is heading to in a turn. And when the car is cruising at low speeds, the beams adjusts itself so they are less focus, hence shine up a wider range to area in a shorter distance; when the car is increasing its speed, the headlights adjust the beams so they become more focus and travel further.
4) The OEM HID's used in most of upscale cars are SPECIFICALLY designed and made for the vehicle itself. It's the BEST FOR THAT VEHICLE, but they are not necessarily the best on all other cars.

Along with most I say get the Silverstars...they were the first and best Mod I did on my car.
I drive to work before the sun comes up and usually heading home when the sun goes down and with the killer fog here on the central coast they beam right through it.
the only bad thing about them is sometimes people flash their beams at me thinking I have my brights on but they get a bright bean when I flash them back...makes them feel stupid
