I have been looking for black housing headlights for my 03 Lancer for awhile now and i finally see them on ebay under this link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...me=rvi%3A1%3A1 does anyone know any other place that sells them? I know they make them for the evo but how about the lancer? any information will be appreciated. Thanks

 

those look like our stock headlights, only painted. its much easier and cheaper to do your own. if you search for painted headlights, you will bring up a couple threads on it done

 

your options are to either paint them yourself for about 30 bucks and a day of your time, or buy them from drummerjun at $290. the only thing with these headlights are that as you may already know, our stock housings use only 3 bulbs: 1 parking light, 1 turn signal, and 1 bulb for hi/lo beam.. however, these black housing headlights from taiwan have 5 bulbs: 1 turn signal, 2 parking lights, high beam, and low beam. so if u were to get these, unless you're experienced with wire splicing, u will have to pay extra for installation fees and probably an extra $40 on new bulbs.

those are the exact ones drummerjun gets, notice the picture of the headlights alone and the seller also states that you have to get it rewired.

hahahaha. I found those a couple days ago and bought them from the same guy. Shipping take a couple weeks rather than just a couple days from Joe - but saving money is more important than having them in 3 days (to me at least). Its a decent deal, after shipping you are saving $26 rather than getting them from Joe. I plan to use that money to buy new bulbs...
