So are these the Audio/Visual lighting gels that pros put over spotlights and such to create light filters? Those are pretty heavy duty, and heat-proof, I would assume.

Thanks for the how-to.

Dont know anything about any gels. I do know these are heat resistent, they have to be they diffuse light from a very powerfull flashlight.

Yeah, okay. I was going to pick up some red gels downtown yesterday, and I figure that's what you used. The ones I saw are meant for theatre spotlights, so I think they can withstand more heat and filter more than a dinky flashlight.

Ah true... but if you filter out too much light then you wont see a thing. Think about that.

As far as a dinky flashlight goes. www.surefire.com I think your observation of the "dinky" flashlight without any info on specifics is a little premature!

Enjoy, I'm glad I could help you!

It's amazing to me how someone can be so... nevermind.

You PM me and **** all week to post a how to cuz you "just gotta know how I did it" then I tell you and you dont wanna listen. OK man tell ya what next time just dont waste my ***kin time! If youhad a "better" way of doing it you should have done it your self.

Tell me in your infinite wisdom is that looks like any LED you've ever seen!

Wow, someone didn't eat their Wheaties this morning.

For the record, I never PM'd you at all, all I did was post on the forum saying I was looking forward to it, which isn't any more than anyone else did.

Secondly, you posted a link directly to the flashlight manufacturer's homepage, and they DO make LED-powered flashlights. Since you didn't say any different, any assumption/mistake I make is innocent.

Thirdly, if you want to go off on a God complex because you're the first one to do this mod, then that's your perogative. Someone would have figured it out eventually, but I guess you have the right to claim that you have a bigger ***** than everyone else.

Good job buddy, good job. I bow down to you.

Edit:

While we're at it, here's a little education on why LED powered flashlights are even more powerful than your normal incandescent bulbs:
