wing response...

I appreciate all your input on the wing. I knew a majority wouldn't like it. I just want something different but not too different. Do you think the wing in the link would work on our Lancer. It is from an eclipse which isnt much wider than our car. Just a thought.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2459026890

I dont think its that bad of a wing - but in my personal opinion the evo 7 and 8 wing look the best for our car and if i ever bought one it would be one of those.

That's probably the most common aftermarket wing out there, put on every single car. If you wanted to make your car look different with that wing, I've got news for you: IT DOESN'T.

it'd be diff from all the lancers

just like my wing...i think i've only seen 3 lancers with 'alum/black' wings...and i like that 'v-spec' style with the end blades...and the middle is CF...so it has 'characteristics' of the Evo wing,

Just to clarify, are you talking about the original wing posted on this thread or the one for auction on ebay with the hyperlink I enclosed earlier?

well the one on the lancer earlier is pretty popular, i dunno about the 2nd one on ebay...they look almost the same...

EDIT: taking closer looks they are different...but i dont think the Ebay one would look good on the lancer....that lower 'base' just looks horrid..it'd be horrible on our trunk. but im sure u can find the first one on ebay if u keep looking.

FWIW, I saw a Subaru this morning, with a really low aluminum GT wing, and it looked good. Probably only two inches off the trunk.

High aluminum wings, not so good.

I can't say unless I've seen it on a car, but the one on the Subie was all black, the side fins weren't very big, and the struts were probably only two inches high. This one looks a little bigger, although it is lower profile than a lot of GT wings out there.

goddam, me and the boys could play dominos on that wing. but honestly though, you should get any wing that you'd want on your car. why do need other peoples opinions? Its your car! but if you want a safe bet, the evo 7, evo 8 and rmr wing looks the best on our car.

lmao lil contradicting, i like the GT type wing. hence why i want a CF wing with black side panels will look better with a cf hood once i ever get that.
