The headlights were a success!!! They look awesome. They are not too bad to do just one or two steps that were a pain but I think anyone who want to have black housing headlights do it yourself. It cost like 10 bucks...the cost of paint, primer and sandpaper. Just take your time and patience is needed.

It is a two day job. Whoever says they can do it for you in one day it'll turn out like crap b/c you need to let the paint dry properly.
sthiewes. . .it took me bout 3-4 hrs. and they look perfectly fine. I haven't had any fogging problems or anything, so. . .

the best paint would probably be any paint that is heat resistant. also use primer first.

hey use Krylon Fusion paint.. its shiney.. and it doesnt crack in the heat.. and its a really close black to the stock black color.. good for me..

im still to nervous to do this bc of condensation issues so many ppl have. and punpdog and blacklancer, i dont want you to do it either. ill porbably end up doing it sometime but just makes me nervous.

haha! hey man.. dont worry about it.. if it fogs back up stick it back in the oven.. wrap a towel around it after you take it out and just put all your weight on it.. itll stick back together.. then let it sit out for a sec.. dont put the lights back in right away..


and the night shades stuff.. ya have to get it off ebay.. its $20.. i just did my taillights and looks pretty good! a lil flat tho..

maybe ill try it net week. ill go buy that krylon you were talking about. itll probably rain while im doing it and i dont have a garage i can park it in tho.
