VIS cf trunk doesn't fit

i tried putting the trunk on today, doesn't come close to fitting, i adjusted its position like 20 times and i adjusted the position of the hook, it doesn't come close to closing, im pretty pissed off, time to DRILL my brackets, great

i bought it thru a group buy type of thing, a friend of mine has the same hood, he had to modify the brackets

this pisses me off... companies make a mold for something, and the first one is good and all, then they never check the molds later and their junk

I'd just drill the brackets, sending it back would probably end up
with you getting an identically wrong trunk. from what i've read
90% of the time people get CF products, they are made incorrectly and need to be drill in one way or another anyways =)

what if you remove the brackets and just lay it on there? does it fit in that manner? that would mean you'd haveta re-drill, which sucks.
