if i remember correctly, the member who had that on here had a white lancer.. not a JDM trunk lid, but just JDM lettering. good pick up though. cant wait for pics . from what i can tell from the pics, there's no keyhole on that trunk is there?

 

If its a real Cedia mold trunk you're screwed. The molding is slightly different than the US spec Lancer. It should fit but but you will notice that your tails and the trunk wont line up as the lip is slightly different.

But hopefully it's just a Lancer US spec CF trunk with Cedia Lettering. If it is, you got it at a great price!

 

no, i was goign to buy that trunk from the guy on the boards here, but if u look at the bottom of the turnk lid, there are 2 holes in it from trunk latches, i didnt want holes in my trunk, but still, great deal

 

What would those holes be doing there? That's not where the trunk latch goes????????

 

you guys are right... this isn't a jdm hood at all.. but that isnt what bothers me... i just found out that the original owner had pins on it (like hood pins).... thats a problem because now the trunk i just bought has holes in it.. this relly sux cuz everyone here knows how hard it is to build up your ride while working a regular job so it really sux when u get ripped off... anyone know if their is such thing as an ebay return or a paypal return? cuz the worse part is that i aleady paid for it!

i think you're screwed, man. your best bet would be to ask the guy to reconsider returning the money. use the words "please" and "i'm stupid" a lot.

that is a total bummer; i've been through it before, too. if you can't get rid of it, just repost it on ebay and hope for the best.

Cant you put a claim in through paypal?......if he didnt state on the item description that it had holes in it, then you might have a case.

 

If he doesn't refund you the money, put it back up for sale on ebay...who knows, u might even profit a bit.

 

just drill holes in the bumper and use latches like he did... it would probably look pretty good!
