Hey guys, was wondering if there was any CF hoods for an '04 OZ. Did a search....came up with nothin. Anybody know if there is even talks of someone makin one.....also Evo VIII fit a 04 Lancer?

There has to be a difference. The 04's front bumper is completely different than that of the 03', the 04's grill is attached to the bumber as opposed to the 03' who's grill is attached on the hood. So i would think the 04's bumper is shorter than the 03's bumper and therefore wouldn't fit.

 

Umm... maybe I'm missing something, but the '04s are a new body style. About the biggest difference between the new lancers and the 02-03s is the front grill, headlights, hood, etc.

I say go through Road Race. They recently added the OEM Hood. I would guarantee that it has better fitment than any other.

 

okay... a real comment... yes the evo 8 wing will fit a lancer...t here are a few around here that have it.

most go for the evo 7 wing however.

 

Thanks guys!....Yeah I was positive the 02 & 03 hood wouldn't work....I'll head over to Road Race and see whats what.

 

Well I checked it out. They have a hood for the 04 Evo, but that won't work I believe because the headlight style for the Evo is diff from the US Lancer....Might have to give them a buzz and make a suggestion
