Anyone in Los Angeles that can Paint

Hey all you lancer people out there in the Los Angeles area. I need to get my kit painted. I am dying looking for a good cheap place. Everyone I talk to is charging me 600+, does anyone know where I can paint my kit for 300 from a shop or a private vendor. Kareem, some help here plz . I want to get my car painted for all the car shows in the local high schools in my valley.

300 is waaaay too low ... it cost like 80 bucks to paint a grill ... and like 275 for just a bumper. 700 is a good price for the entire kit ... i got mine painted for 550 with no hood. are u planning to install it urself b/c it might cost about 1G to paint and install

You should prep the entire body yourself....Find someone who works at a bodyshop willing to take on a side job. Supply them with paint (if you can find it at cost), and simply pay them for the labor. Not sure about the cost of your exact paint code, but I am sure someone can pick up the job for $300 on the side, excluding paint of course..

Its good to have a family member that owns a custom body shop. Im gettin mine painted for $200 but i dont have the hood. That blows that it costs as much for the paint job as it does for the kit.

Hey Viciouz,

Just got the gist that u need painting done. I got a tough quarter at school lined up for me this spring. Gimme 3 weeks to get past the first midterms then ill see if i can adjust my studying a bit to fit your paint job in... sound coo? If you find someone else before then, then that's cool too.
