Sunroof!!!

I was wondering I know you can do it but how can I make a sunroof in my lancer. And can I get a electronic one.

dont know how to d it but i do know that it costs so much money that it isnt worth having one custom made.

you can do it...but it WILL eventually leak. for some reason everyone i know or have talked to that got a sunroof installed after they bought a car (aftermarket sunroof...even the dealer installed ones) eventually started to leak or break somehow.

and they don't really cost that much.

my dealer didnt have any with teh sunroof, i think they are kind of scarce adn i chose the leather over hte sunroof anyway.

i made them put in a powered moonroof didn't cost me a thing got it because they didn't have the LS model at the time i should be the only one on here with a moonroof in a lancer. Mine slides down and in to the roof and also lifts up to vent.

i didnt even know mitsu offered sunroofs for 03 oz's until after i bought mine, o how i wish i had a sunroof

i have a buddy who is putting a sonroof in his diamante. He ordered it for $140 bucks and he claims that his dad can out that **** in. I hope it doesnt leak but i think it might. I thought that number was low as hell but what do you guys think???

My bad i should've clarified on that. All aftermarkets leak. I had a monterosport a few years back and it had an aftermarket sunroof that let huge amounts of water in when it rained out.

huh... I think it depends on where you go. I've had 2 aftermarket sunroofs put in, and neither of them ever leaked.
