Yup, burnt orange is the color of the 350Z... so thats what color that lancer is. The only thing I dont like about that car are the stock rims... lol

Back on topic, yup, you can paint over CF... people do it all the time.

 

It's a full cf hood from VIS with the sides painted. I actually met the owner at a recent car show here and checked the car out. It looks even more pimp in person!

YEP it Painted on Carbon fiber hood! well the Paint Job will cost you 230-400 buck! for Hood.. 250-600 for full body kits.
