how can they do this?? change the half hood to the carbon fiber or paint it??

 

From what I could see it looks like they painted it like that and it is not carbon fiber. I may be wrong though maybe they painted the carbon fiber the copper colour on the sides.

 

I believe it's a CF hood with the edges painted to match. I've seen a silver evo on this board that is the same way (sorta). I think blending the paint into the CF like this looks awesome.

its def all cf. they just painted the sides, kinda like how pple paint the sides of their cf evo spoilers.

 

Ya I tried zoomin in but it got distorted as I did. I just compaired it to the grill which is not CF. But I think your right.

i was watchin pimp my ride last night lmao, and thats the color they painted this 87 crx.

 

those are gandor mirros, that is a VIS hood and it is CF. I had the same hood, fitment blows but that is another story.

They painted the sides to match the car, like zooracer, kontradictions , uranium9v and a few others have done

 

ok, I got it, I really do not know the CF hood can be painted!!!
btw, this color cost the owner 1500 bucks.(350z orange w/ gold pearl paint )

that car is on car domain he has real cf... and he said the color is the Burnt Orange from the Nissan 350Z

 

you just paint over it like it was a body kit or something.. no biggie
