stock interior color

on OZ rally lancers, what is the stock painted interior color? Like the parts around the sterring wheel, and glove compartment..all that? the upper dash? what color is that? i wanna paint my interior. go for the dark look . cause i drive an ES, adn the grey looks cheap. Ive seen painted panels, but no one's painted the rest of the interior? is it possible?

the stuff that he painted was plastic. The pieces on the dash have a brushed aluminum look to them, but it's all plastic

in the 04 oz's all the fabric is black too, where as the 02-03 has dark blue on the seats and the doors.

It's NOT black, it's actually a dark grey. And yes, you could get paint to match it. Remove an interior piece that's at least an inch square, take it to a paint store (an auto store if you plan on painting body parts, Home Depot or the like for painting anything else) tell them you want paint to match and they will have it scanned and matched (or very close to it)

changing the title of the thread and moving to Show and Shine.

and on a side note, even if it was black, there are over a thousand different recognized shades of black!

i painted a couple of 'glassed pieces i did, the color of the original interior. go to your local hardware/paintshop. i got a semi-flat black, it turned out to be almost dead on close.
