Cost of Install???

I just picked up for my 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer ES;
1. Progress Springs
2. Front Strut
3. Rear Anti-Sway Bar with Autocross Perches
4. Slotted Rotors
5. Axxis Brake Pads
I was quoted at $390 to do the installation. Is this a decent price? I was recommended to a specific shop by one of my friends and this was his quote. I called another specialty shop close by me and I was quoted at $350 for the install. I was expecting to pay around $300 for the labor. Is this just wishful thinking? And if anyone in the New York/New Jersey area please feel free to recommend any shops. I know labor is not cheap, and I have installed springs and struts for my friends before, but I like to have professionals work on my car. Thanks.....

It should cost you zero dollars and a few hours of your time this weekend. You need an impact gun for the springs (spring compressor isn't necessary as I've installed at least 4 sets of various springs/coilovers without them), time, and the search button on the forums.

The strut bar is 6 bolts and fitment. The sway bar is also 6 bolts and fitment. The pads and rotors is a matter of removing your wheels and taking the brake housing apart. Do it yourself and save that cash!

Install it yourself. Get someone to show you the ropes. It's a great learning experience. And I speak from experience, as I've installed everything on that list.
