it might also be the bump rubber. in the front i think your suppose to cut that about an 1in..to an 1.2in. that's just my oppinion though. i'm not sure what the back problem could be.

I cut the bump stops and still have the problem. It sounds like this isn't specific to the Progress Springs (i have the eibach). It seems like it is common with lowering the lancer. I don't think I have any damage, just noise. Unfortunately, we might have to live with it.

im hoping by letting them settle the noise will go away . . the noise has gotten considerably less since a week ago when i first had them put on . . . hopefully it will get even less after this weekend when i get it aligned and put on my new rims? . . . i think i still might invest in some of that spring insulator stuff to quiet them down even more . . . i cant stand hearing that rattle

i figured out the problem
i am a god lol
on mine aside from not having the rubber things i had to tighten down the screw that bolts everything together, to do this take the schock hold it so it won't turn and then tighten the screw down otherwise it turns and you can't tighten the damn bolt
peace out
thank me later
this explains why it got progressivly worse on some of your cars, the screw just kept getting looser and looser

For rear noise it probably isn't the springs. There is a thread on many people have suspension noise from the back stock.

ok found out that that is only a temp fix i called progress and they are sending me a freeeeee kit that is a "wrap" that goes around the spring supposedly the bottom and tops of the springs bend and hit themselves so this keeps metal from hitting metal call them and get more info if you need it

edit here is the phone number

sweet.. but wait so tightening the bolt/s (shock bolt/ three outer bolts) had nothing to do with the noise?
