Probably, or the two holes aren't lined up.

Should have got the eibachs. You need a compressor for them, the progress just sit there, that is what tipped me off. Anyway there is a fix in another thread that involves some of that nylon spiral conduit crap, they just wound that around the coil where they were hitting. Sounds ghetto to me, but that supposedly solves the problem.

i have the noise when i hit bumps, the prob isn't that mine are upside down its that there are rubber bushing that go above the spring that i forgot to put back on, i will put them back on and the noise will be gone, i idn't forget on the rear tires just the front 2

man..my noises have gotten worse!! the clanging in the front isn't so bad, but now my back springs are squeaking!! it sounds like the noise rubbing a balloon would make(if that makes any sense). but it's annoying as hell should i take them back to the guy who installed them for me and say he put them in upside down?

My progress springs make alot of noise in the front and they also squeak in the rear! I dont know whats wrong with them, but i heard that the noise in the front is from the springs hitting each other.

i just had mine put in today and im hearing some noises from the front . . like something rattling when i hit a bump . . the guy who put them in said he made sure everything was lined up - i even gave him the how to instructions from the forums, so im pretty sure they are installed right, but i have no idea what else the noise could be . . . ?

My eibach springs clatter a bit in the right front, think it's just the spring hitting itself. The rear used to creak horribly, but i got new tires and an alignment the other day, now the creaking is gone. Can't promise anyone that an alignment will fix everyone's car, but it somehow did the trick on mine. Maybe some felt between the spring coils will kill the clatter, or that nylon wrap stuff?!
