Brake Problem
Brake Problem
I changed my brakes about 2 weeks ago. i recently i started hearing grinding like noises. anyone know why? and another question. how come the passanger side brake pads wear down HELLA fast compared to the driver side?
i changed mine about a week ago and i noticed that the passenger side was more worn than the driver side too. i don't know why though. just thought i'd share that with you. i don't know what the grinding is, mine haven't done that. sorry.
Did you guys change your own brakes?
Usually when you change your brakes your rotors need to be grinded down so there won't be any type of ridges that will cause uneven wear on the pads. As for one side wearing out more than the other, could be a bad caliper or something. You can try and bleed your brakes a bit to even out the flow if fluid to each side.

If I knew any good shops from back home I'd let you know, but it has been a while now... Any slotted rotor (Brembo/Powerslot) and Axxis/Porterfield pad combo will work well together.
