performance struts ?????

ok b4 u flame let me explain...ok so ive searched on here and found out that oz struts will fit on a es if u change the top mount.
so my question is since they make an aftermarket strut for the es why cant we (people with oz model) take the es aftermarket strut and put our top mounts on it and make it work? i have some ground controll coilovers that would probably not ride that bad if i had a pair performance struts to put them on.any help would be nice.thanks

only aftermarket struts available... as you already know are KYB struts. Even though RRM's website says they're better than stockies(which is most likely true) I probably wouldn't rate them as performance struts.

If you look at the price of ground control coilovers and add the cost of all for corners(KYBs), your total cost will probably be a few bucks shy from a Nexx setup which has been tested and approved by a few members already.

oh i see...the only thing is i already have a set of ground controll coilovers so zero cost there..i was just looking for a sturt that would perform better than the stock ones with the gc coilovers
the other question is any strut avilable from other cars that mount or match the mounting holes at the bottom of the strut

cause if the holes on the bottom fit couldnt we just use our top mounts and use those struts?(does this work or can it)
for example. if ones from like a eclipse fit the bottom holes i can put my top mount on them and buy performance ones
any1 have any idea if this would work
