Exclamation Lancer adjustable coilovers

I just bought some coilovers from ebay, and my "friend" is charging me $50 each to install. Total of $200.

Anyways, I wanted to know if they were that hard to install. I have all the tool, but not the knowledge. I could really use mayor help on this guys. Any help will be great. Thanks!

Yeah, you could be a moron and pay $200 for install.
Seriously, that's outrageous. A shop would charge less. Hell, a dealership would charge less.

No, you can't do much wrong. Can you take nuts off bolts? Can you put nuts back on bolts? It's very simple to do. Remove old, insert new the same way. It'll probably only fit one way anyhow.

Make sure you get an alignment afterwards, thought.

you really cant mess anything up unless you lose a nut or bolt, or if you put something on wrong. Its easier than you think.

Here is the link to RRM spring install, https://www.evolutionm.net/features/...e/rrmcorner/18 I did my springs and it was a really easy install. I would make sure I had an impact wrench though, makes things alot easier, I bought one form Wal-Mart for 79 bucks then took it back when I was done (they'll take anything back at wal-mart!! LOL)

if you reinstall the strut with the tower in a different position than it was when it came off; you will have some problems.

springs are a cake, but make sure you have the right tools. I installed replacement front struts this weekend and it literally took me 30 minutes from start to finish. Having pneumatic tools helps (need a impact wrench).

edit: I just looked at the ebay link - those are the same sleeve coilovers I bought. )mine were NEX sleeve coilovers). They work okay and are pretty easy to install. If you get stuck installing, lemme know and I can help the confusion - you gotta pop the gold looking ring off the strut and put the rubber spacers on, then slide the metal sleeve over them. Its easy, but if you dont know what to do, its like WTF ..

Just make sure you don't lower them too drastically or you'll blow your sturts in a month. Maybe go for a drop around 2 inches...
