Question JIC FLT-A2 vs TEIN SS

Hi Guys,

Can I have some reviews and inputs between these two suspension setups ?
What are the rating between them in term of price/performance ?

Thanks,

I don't know of anyone that has the JIC FLT-A2. I know they cost more than the Tein SS.

are you serious?

lol.. yea i've never heard of any lancers running the JIC.

I've heard of EVo's running it though...

I would think that the JIC's go hand in hand w/ the Tein SS's.
But for some reason, i know JIC cost more for some reason.

JIC is more expensive. Some of their coilovers have a reputation of rusting to Hell really fast, but I haven't heard any hard statements (like "don't buy xxx").

my friend adam (lanceradam here on evom) has JICs (not sure which model) on his lancer. when he sets those things all the way stiff you can (as he put it) "feel a flea crap on the tire".

having gone for a few rips in the car with the suspension i can safely say that it handles extremely well. i am using his old suspension, which was a set of TEIN basics. he upgraded to the JICs because they were far superior. when you compare them to my basics there isn't really much of a competition.

i know super streets are a whole different coilover... but comparing basics to JICs is all i can do with first-hand experience anyway.

Tein SS are twintube shocks, whereas JIC is a monotube.

JIC will likely need overhaul services after a year.

"Rusting to Hell Really Fast" !!! Really .. Damn...

For TEIN users, TEIN SS doesnt come with Upper Pillow mount right ?
If buying U/P mounts separately, will they cost the same ?

Another thing is that, Does TEIN have "ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT LOWER BRACKET " ?

pls advise,
