Strut bars

The strut bars are not really needed to improve the handling on an ES drastically, correct? So I could just buy and install the sway-bar and it would be good until I am ready for more rigdity(sp?) of the chassis?

you'll notice more of a difference from the sway bar. to say that strut bars are not needed...ehh...i guess you can't really say that but in terms of making the most of your money...id get a sway bar and coil overs and call it a day

Correct. Honestly, the strut bars are pretty far down on the list. Get the sway first, definitely.

You are talking about a rear sway, right? Is there a front sway available for the Lancer?

No aftermarket front sway available. The stock one is huge already, and Lancers naturally understeer. Nothing more is needed up front.

The Progress is half off at Summit nowadays...

Ok, so I'm about to buy some Tein Basics and I also wanted to purchase a rear sway bar. Should I get the sway bar advertised on RRM's webiste that comes with the perches.... or will the Progress sway bar do the job? I'm not talking down RRM, great company to buy products from, but it really comes down to whether the $230 sway bar and perches from RRM, be noticeably different compared to the Progress sway bar you mentioned above at Summit?

We are the only ones who put together a kit for ES swaybar. Call us for details or order away. Summit doesn't know a Lancer from a Charger!

Sway first, then springs or coilovers, then Strutbars, then tiebar! That is the order to go in.

Well if thats the case.... Then I will put my order in with you guys, as I did buy my front strut from you guys already. Although do I need the kit thats has the Sway Bar w/ AutoCross Perches, or will the "OZ Edition" Sway bar do the trick? I have an 03 ES, and I only do street driving... well aggressive street driving at times.

You'd need the kit with the perches. Your ES has none. Get the first one you mentioned.

Good to hear. I put my order in with RRM for the Strut w/autoX perches last night. I also have Tein Basics coming in this week to replace my LAME coilover sleeves. I have the RRM front strut as well, and the Magnaflow exhaust, highflow cat, and pulley from RRM all installed.... great purchase, you won't be disapppointed.
