Drop question

Im looking at buying a set of Tein Springs, but the only thing stopping me is that my wheels (Motegi DP12 which are 17x7) have the ability to hit my wheel-well(sp?) if i hit a larger sized bump/pothole/G-out. This only happens in the rear and it looks to be about 1/4 of an inch out to far. So my real question is that do the Tein Springs give a little more camber to the rear so if i drop it my tires will not hit my wheel-well?

You wont scrape. They only drop the rear a little less than an inch.

DO you have a pic of how close it is now?

a drop does not give camber. getting an allignment done and setting your camber will give you camber. when you drop your car you should get an allignment.

A drop does not give camber? I beg to differ, an aggressive drop will move the tire up on the pivot point of the rear suspension causing the tire to rotate inwards (camber). Since we do not have double A-arm suspensions it will actually give the car a negative camber in the rear.

well yes. I guess I should have been more clear with my statement. Course it will give camber for the reason you stated. But it can also jack up other things and not give the desired camber. allignment is best way to set it where you want to avoid rubbing. Not just leave it where it falls after the install.
