ABS question

Would a bunch of snow in my wheel potentially set off my abs light and make my brake peddle spongy? There is no feel to my brakes and the car just slides to the right now...it's a crazy storm and nothing is plowed and i had to drive my gf to work and all was good till the drive back home...the stupid light came on and the brakes suck!

I've heard of some Lancer's having ABS, but I have yet to have a car with 'um. No clue actually, but good luck!

I don't know if i like this Abs system..actually ive never driven a car with a good abs system yet. Even in expensive cars, they just suck! This cars abs is pretty poor too though and so sensative...it takes longer to stop if i just press the brakes once rather than pump it with the help of the abs..
