Bouncing Really Bad!

My 02 lancer is a terrible drive. It bounces so much its ridiculous even just going on small bumps its bouncing alot and on speed bumps its even way worse... I read already it might be a broken strut but im not sure if thats the reason & how can you tell if you have a broken strut?... CAN ANYONE GIVE ME SOME OPINIONS ON WHAT THEY MIGHT THINK THE PROBLEM IS??

Thanks

Probably $70.00 for each strut.

This is what I was quoted by a local NTB
Front: $180 each + $40 labor each
Rear: $140 each + $40 labor each

i've seen fronts for about 130 each and rears for about 100 each

after figuring out the cost($460+springs(~$300))...i just went with megan coilovers for 900

I dont know much about suspension...

The struts are the shock absorbers, they're one unit in the lancer.

Strut bars have nothing to do with your issue, the problem is the struts themselves.
