however you are right about the Eibachs. They are generally less stiff of a ride and give the most "stock" feel while giving good performance
they must've come out while I was posting on this thread. and you must be the same crypto on mitsubishi-forums.com. Prior to that, people were running Tein springs made for older lancers that just happen to fit 08+. I know that for a fact.

Jeez! you didn't have to be an azz about it

I think I know what you're talking about even though i'm from the cheese state. All the driveways in Madison have a 45 degree incline to them. why? I don't effin' know...

Plus with the snow = FAIL

I'm looking at the Tein S-techs too. They have a serious drop without coilover cost: $$$$.xx!

Struts won't go out if you don't take hard turns all the time and AM struts will come out, just be patience

get springs now and stiffer shocks/struts later? that's what i would do if they did go out. It'd be a good excuse to get better shocks/struts when the OEM ones fail. Plus it'll be easier on the pocket too.

Don't be to sure. The 02-06 lancer has been around for a while now, and only one company ever made shocks........the company who made the OEM ones.

either way. Coilovers are always gonna be better than shocks and springs. Also running just springs and hoping that shocks come out someday isn't very smart, especially if you don't have the money to replace the stock shocks if they blow out early.

Do the smart thing, save your cash up and get the product you REALLY want. It may take longer, but you will be much happier in the end.
