hey guys i got some money to spend and I am getting sick of looking at my 2011 lancer es wheels and tires. Been searching and can't decide on what to get here. I want to go with a more thicker looking tire 205/60/16 kinda sucks. I am thinking more like what the evo has what do you guys think and would it fit tires like that on a ES? also needs some nice looking rims I want to go black any good ideas please help

 

How is your suspension? If you get bigger wheels and thinner tires its gonna suck big time in NYC.

 

everything is all stock only did minor changes nothing for performance yet

 

I went with matte black XXR 18x8.75" rims on my 08 GTS, which they'll still fit on your ES. I have a picture on another thread in this section titled "need rim ideas" or something like that. These rims still fit my stock 215 size tires, but had to be stretched to fit - but since you've got a completely different stock size, obviously you need to get the correct tires. I don't have any issues with these rims despite being oversized, and I'm quite happy with them, especially how it compliments the color of my car.

Sure thing - to each their own. We are talking about wheels after all, and that's a decision that's 100% based on what the buyer wants their car to look. Can't go wrong either way.
