I put my springs on to and they made a funny noise and i was very up set .............. Then I took it to my dealer ship and they said "Your front struts are toast!" so I said "looks like a job for my warranty."and they replaced them both and lived happly ever after.




P.S. You might want to check those struts after you put your springs on
because they may be junk if you don't use a compresser on them.
But you may hear the springs setting in. That is not a clanking
noise if you hear a clank its time for a strut job.

So they replaced the struts, even though, you had aftermarket springs on?

What kind of springs did you get?

 

And which Mitsu dealer did you go to??? I live near boston.

 

I have Eibach springs . But I don't live in boston I live in indianapolis,IN
and I thinck I got lucky about them replacing the struts. On the othere hand they can NOT refuse your warranty unless the prove that your add on (what ever it is ) caused the problem. It wasn't the springs that busted the struts it was me.



The struts are on now I need a strut bar any info on the RRM or RMR.
I heard that OBX is making/makes front and rear but no credible source.

I got the RRM Front Strut bar and it works well, they also a rear sway bar available.
