Question Lowerings Springs?

Hello EvoM fam. Im getting my stock evo x enkei rims put on my 2011 lancer this week on 235/40/18. And I want to lower my car afterwards but I just have a few question about lowering springs. What brand is recommend? I was planning to get Eibach pro-kit lowering springs and If I do would I have to roll both front and rear fenders? And how long will the Eibach springs last? Thanks in advance!!

I have the eibach pro kit installed and the ride quality is great. Ive had them on for about 10k km's and rode it fairly hard and Ive had no issues regarding quality thus far. As for fender rolling im running 225/45/17 so that wasnt an issue for me, can't help u there.

Will have to roll the rear fenders. Springs would last, your shocks will give up sooner than the springs

Lix brings up a good point too. I had replaced my shocks the previous summer to lowering it because they were getting a bit soft for my liking, so I put in KYB's, which are great. But lowering the car will cause those to wear prematurly. If i was to do it all over again I wouldve gotten the entire pro-kit which comes with the correct dampers plus the strut bars for about 750. the springs cost me 270 and the struts the year before about 400 i think so...if i had waited i wouldve had them both plus the bars i wish i had now for the same price.

Struts Life will sometimes be cut in half..i dont think you will rub but will need to get your alignement fixed after installation of the springs..but the car will handle alot better
