Cutting the stock springs to lower a lancer es 2009

Hi, sorry if this has been answered before, didnt find it.
just have a quick question, can i just cut the stock springs? would it be a bad thing? would that make the car suspension to suck an be all jumpy and hard? thank you?

I would never suggest cutting springs I think its a hack way of modifying. Just do it correctly the first time.

you would also experience poor ride quality resulting of cutting your spring.

IMO - just spend the few hundred for some nice Eibachs.

This way if you ever want to go back to stock you will still have the stock parts. Much safer, easier, and smarter overall.
